This summer has been the hottest on record and hardly a surprise it hasn't stopped Maya a bit! She cut two upper teeth last week and did really well apart from sounding like a old smoker. She is getting more and more mobile by the minute and I honestly don't think walking on her own is too far away. She does turn on the speed when she wants to crawling and regularly seems to have red knees! Must to my amazement we did finally find Maya a pair of shoes. The price nearly made me sick, but one I'll have to live with. I find it funny that every other grandchild in my family have extra wide high arched feet, and yet my daughter has the narrowest tiny feet ever! A problem equally frustrating and maybe more so as they don't do narrow kids shoes! Anyway we found them and she loves being in them and pulling up on everything. Of course this means her crib is at the lowest setting as we now wake up to this....
Cheeky monkey, but she is happy and hasn't chewed the crib (so far).
Maya now really eats everything, she is eating peanut butter, whole cows milk and anything she like. She is lovely know as my lean mean metabolism machine! It is so nice that she is free on food and away from formula. We do give here a formula cup int he morning as a vitamin supplement as she is still growing fast and catching up.
